opened a second checking account, aka a "savings" account sans interest really. put $50 of my paycheck toward moving out. SWEET. all my commission money is going straight into that account and is not moving, come hell or homelessness (well okay, maybe homelessness is enough of a reason to get me to tap into it, god forbid). I'm just waiting on another payment and a possible gig with another client.

MAN. you have to fight tooth and nail for jobs in the forums. there are so many people vying for the clients' attentions, it makes my head spin.

a note to those out there who post in the Job Offers: please let people know whether it's yay or nay. for those who get nays, it'd be really nice if you could y'know, send out a mass email, or post in the thread that the position has been filled. just something to let us nayees know what's going on. i really really dislike having to rely on the fact that two weeks with no response = you didn't get the job. seems rather rude to me.

anyway, January can't come soon enough. :<
